This one may seem fairly obvious but, in true KVH Search Found style, it is completely free and may give you some good ideas. Register with a jobs website or two such as this one and sign up for as wide a variety of occupations as you can that you might be able to fulfil.

If you want to keep your identity private then you can create a new email address on hotmail for example (this is free, of course). If they ask for a C.V. up front then upload a blank word or text document.

4. Earn cash for buying what you would have bought anyway

This one requires a bit of discipline. If you are easily tempted to spend money then skip to number 6. There are several sites that will pay you cash back for making purchases. ONLY use this site to buy things that you would have bought anyway. It’s ideal for Christmas shopping, clothing and the like. 5. Use a cashback credit card

If you're online anyway, why don't you use a cashback credit card to buy the cashback items and hey presto! You get double the cash back! If you're going to spend, you might as well get money back for it by using a cashback credit card. American Express Platinum MoneyBack Credit Card has just announced that it it's giving 5% cashback to new customers (it was 3%) for the first three months on up to £4,000 of spending.

After that it drops down to 0.5-1.5% depending on how much you spend in a year. So that means you could make £200 if you spend the full amount in the next three months. Capital One card is also a good one because it gives you 4% cashback for the first three months and there's no upper limit to the spending so, in effect, you could make more than £200. After that you get 1% cashback on your spending.

6. Recycle your old mobile
